The new SunLight K3 shows all the features that made the previous version one of the most successful on the market: compactness, flexibility and  easy-to-use, all combined with high printing quality. However the printer has been additionally improved. The new  SunLight K3 has extra features aimed to the printer performances being more flexible and compliant with market requirements.

The new Sunlight K3 is more versatile regarding card thickness and formats supporting.  
SunLight K3 has extended the card range that is supported; the new printer can now personalize card thicknesses ranging from 0.229 mm to 1.016 mm. as well as CR80 (85.3x53.7 mm) and CR79 (83.8 x 51.8 mm) formats; to shift is extremely easy and quick, you only have to move a lever to the desired format.
 
The new SunLight K3 supports cards that can be erased and rewritten multiple times, useful expecially for applications where the card life is extremely short, like a visitors badge, a temporary pass and many other applications where cards are used only for a few days or hours. This additional option helps to eliminate waste and reduces costs!

In addition, the new SunLight K3 has  a new driver capable of enhancing printing quality, also a new smart card encoder is provided for contact and contactless encoding. A wide range of possible combinations are available thanks to the Ethernet function.

The SunLight K3 is also capable of supporting Linux operating systems, making it more and more flexible and versatile

We also remind you that the SunLight K3 is supplied bundled with free “ Rainbow Light”, a CIM software for easy card lay-out and colour management.
